New Roots Support
WHO WE ARE
New Roots Support is a community‑rooted transitional living program built on one simple belief: everyone deserves stability, dignity, and a real chance to rebuild their life. We serve adults who are stepping into a new chapter — whether returning from incarceration, overcoming setbacks, or working toward independence.
Our home is more than a bed. It’s a foundation.
A place where structure meets compassion, and accountability meets opportunity.
What We Do
At New Roots Support, we provide safe, stable, and supportive housing designed to help individuals reset, rebuild, and move forward with confidence. Our approach is people‑first, barrier‑free, and grounded in real‑world support.
We offer:
• Transitional Housing — clean, stable, adult‑only living with structure and accountability
• Re‑entry Support — guidance for individuals navigating parole, employment, and community reintegration
• Workforce Stability — routines, expectations, and support that help residents maintain employment
• Community Advocacy — connecting residents to resources, partners, and opportunities
Every service we offer is built to strengthen the individual — and by extension, strengthen the community.
Our Story
New Roots Support didn’t begin as a business idea.
It began as a calling.
As a long‑time advocate for underserved neighborhoods in Lubbock, I saw firsthand how many adults were falling through the cracks — not because they lacked potential, but because they lacked stability. I stepped in to create the resource our community needed: a home that offers structure, safety, and a fresh start.
The name New Roots reflects my philosophy:
When people are planted in the right environment, they grow.
What Makes Us Different
New Roots Support stands apart because we are:
• Community‑driven, not profit‑driven
• People‑centered, not program‑centered
• Accountability‑focused, not punishment‑focused
• Warm, structured, and consistent — the way healing environments should be
We don’t just house people.
We support them, advocate for them, and walk with them as they rebuild.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
• Providing a safe, stable home
• Offering structure and clear expectations
• Supporting residents through re‑entry and workforce challenges
• Building strong community partnerships
• Treating every person with dignity and respect
At New Roots Support, we believe in second chances, steady progress, and the power of community.
